The Korean development team, SHIFTUP presented the first gameplay shots of its upcoming game, Project Eve. This is a third-person action title, which was first revealed last year. In this video we see the protagonist, Eve, fighting against the unknown invaders named NA-tives, to reclaim the Earth after its collapse.
The influences from Nier Automata, both in the design of the characters and in the gameplay are obvious, however, the speed of the action is slightly reduced and has somewhat more weight to it; slightly reminiscent of the last God of War game.
According to the team, this title will have live-action level graphics and it’s going to utilize advanced technologies, such as a high-density 3D scan system and performance capture. The goal of the developers is to show the maximum possible performance of various platforms, including consoles.
Historically, SHIFTUP Studios is headed by Hyung-Tae Kim, an art director and illustrator best known for his work at Blade & Soul.
