Rachel “Valkyrae” Hofstetter switched platforms from Twitch to YouTube at the beginning of the year and has remained there exclusively ever since. In one of her latest podcasts she slipped up some information with the fans, that she might have preferred to keep private.
Most of time content creators on YouTube or Twitch don’t make their earnings public. This is mostly due to contractual reasons that prohibit them from publishing financial details. An exception was, for example, streamer Disguised Toast , who in 2018 fully disclosed its earnings to everyone in a video. Sometimes content creators unintentionally reveal their earnings. This has happened to Valkyrae on YouTube.
The 28-year-old accidentally showed her YouTube dashboard with lots of numbers and statistics about her channel in one of her live streams. According to this, Rachell “Valkyrae” Hofstetter earned over $ 172,000 in just 28 days. According to the dashboard, this value is even six percent below the sum of the previous month. Revenue from partnerships and other deals is not included here. A screenshot of these numbers was published on Twitter.
Valkyrae switched from Twitch to YouTube at the beginning of the year and is also under contract with the esports organization 100 Thieves. Her channel currently has over 2.64 million subscribers.
